Sound Recording

Im not sure what is wrong,
But when I try recording ( und ist for all record programm)
it does not record sound. When my brother had a microfon, and recorded Videos, it would
Record his voice, but not the game sound.
Any Idea how to fix?

try getting a new microphone, just a cheap one, to see if it's the program that doesn't work or if it's the microphone.

You have to stick the mic into the object that is playing the sound. Microphones are like that, unless its an expensive one. If it can record your bros voice but not the games, then the microphone is too far away from the speakers. You have to make the microphone and the speakers have less then a cm space apart for this to work, otherwise it wont record

But if i want to use like, fraps, with my old computer it could record, dont need mic
but this one does, i think its settings but =|

Sometimes it can be found in the settings. If its not, why not just use fraps!
