Good Anti-virus and spyware programs.

Right now I'm at work so I can not post and link all the names so I will do it as soon as I get home.

Zonealarm PRO 2009 + Malwarebytes' anti-malware

Zonealarm with its award winning firewall + spyware protection.
Malwarebytes is by far the best anti virus/anything malicious program i have ever dealt with. The updates dont rape your computers resources, and it has a constant protection going around the clock so you dont have to scan every day or so. I scan every like 2 months and get maybe 3 viruses.\

My past security has been with Zonealarm security suite 2009, kaspersky internet security 2009, sygate, and many many more.

Zonealarm security suite 2009: Cant say its as good as my setup atm. I dont approve of the anti virus from zonealarm because its just not as effective, and you have to continuously scan your computer because its round the clock protection simply dosnt do anything.

Kaspersky internet security: It was fairly decent considering how you literally had no say in anything, the program would do literally everything for you. What killed it for me were the rumors that it cant catch rootkits, one of the most dangerous infections you can get. Also, it runs decent in idle, but when it comes to update or scan your computer, you cant do shit. It slows your computer down so much, that it takes about 40 seconds to open up your web browser. Updates, completely take you out of the internet and disconnect you untill there done. So if you have kaspersky and your going to drop from your game, check kaspersky.

Sygate Firewall: The only thing i liked from this firewall is that it shows the web traffic, and every specific detail of your programs, how much data there recieving, how much there sending, etc. This firewall should be used by people who are computer tech savvy. If you have no internet in computers and just want protection for your computer, STAY AWAY.

Those are all great and all but I am talking about ones that you don't have to BUY, crack or need a keygen for but maybe it's not a problem for some but it is for me when I work on other people's computer. I do install these on every computer I work on. So I am going to go over FREE ones that my friends and I have tested and found them to be just as good or better then most. Yes I do use them all. I use Avast! full time and the rest I update and run once a month. My computer has been stable with these programs for 4 years, no system restore and no F-Disk, so you can use this advise or not.

Out of all of those you just stated, i would recommend ad aware and malware bytes anti malware.
Too bad they dont have around the clock protection with the free malwarebytes anti malware, but its still good with its amazing scan it will catch any virus on your computer.
