It's women's fault!

Well this rambling of mine involves the first story in the old testament, genesis which you all probably know. It's the story about Adam and Eve, and after reading it a few times and watching some funny comedy shows I'm pretty convinced that women started sin. As Daniel Tosh (a comedian) put it, "Yeah yeah you were hungry and there was a talking snake, we've bought that for 2000 years just stick with it"

So whaddya guys think, did women really start sin?

Cause up until recently (past 100 or so years) everyone thought women were inferior to men

yeah but that was generally the idea behind the theory, that women were inferior BECAUSE of the first sin. atleast i think it was like taht in europe and other christian places, cos im pretty sure in some places women weren't that un-equal (places taht aren't christian places ) but yeah that is a huge debate in christian churches, like i'm pretty sure we watched a video of ppl talking about this in like uhh gr 6 at my church.

that's a good point doom, and remember guys don't be scared to have opinions, this is an open forum for discussion and learning. But to your comment doom, we have to trace back and figure out why people were sexist, they HAD to have a core reason beyond the bible. Or maybe it's just too much to expect women to do only household deeds?

Also i think women rebelled for universal suffrage because they saw so much action in the work fields during the great war.

guys about this women man thing i would like todirect your attention to one fact. first off god made man no? he thought man was incomplete alone. so what did he do? took a rib from the man and made woman so what's this? how can it be the woman's fault alone? honestly i know you can have opinions on stuff. but this? well you can't really till if god made it happen or not its just one of those things you got to think. wtf? god put a tree told them not to eat form it the devil comes, tempts them to eat it and they both do, you have to sit and think. why would god create the tree if he KNEW they were going to eat from it? and if you haven't figured it out.... i suck at wording ideas

ah, exactly. why WOULD god make a tree if he knew that they would eventually be tempted. As his own flesh keeping Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden would be a priority no? maybe he did intend on seeing who'd break first, and things were going great for guys until the cain and abel incident D=.

honestly i had have a change of heart about god. and the thing is HE DIDN'T want us to listen to him like we had no choice at all. he wanted us to live a free life. those commandments state stuff that makes us sad? it's not a rule. it's a warning. god wants us to live freely with alittle guidence. i mean he is called god almighty. he could make us what he wants. also i would like to direct you TO YOUR SEXIST ATTITUDES. they were like little kids no? they didn't grow up learning about anything they had no parents or guidence really on what is a good or bad or what to listen to. so if satan comes of course they are going to listen they don't know any difference. i mean really get rid of that sexist attitude guys it's pissing me off.

hey man, i'm just having fun pointing fingers. regardless of how i feel i still love women, it's just fun to blame them for the troubles sometimes, seeing as how they love doing it to us guys =P. but anyways, yea i see what you mean window. the thing is though, for some people, freedom can be a dangerous thing. if they have freedom to do what they want, that also includes making other people follow their rule. hence our nations of the world...and corruptness. besides, lots of people need guidance anyway.

edit: also if you really think we were meant to be free, then i can be as freely sexist as i want window. in your point of view, how dare you call me out for something i'm free to do. and you're right, adam and eve didn't have parents. they only had uh...whats his name? God? or something?
