Xfire..err Xblaze

ok, so, as I am on a Mac (FTW) my version of Xfire (Xblaze, which seph found for me) doesn't support IG chat. I don't know what this means for any future part I can/can't have in this clan. though I can't talk IG I have an app for Xblaze (which I am running through Adium) were anything that gets said gets read allowed by my computer, after that I can tab out, when time permits, and easily respond. So even though I can't exactly talk IG I can fairly easily communicate with clan members.

I'm sure this has been discussed the admins of the clan and such, but why aren't we using something like Vent or TeamSpeex, that I found so often in use during my WoW days.

Any help with my dilemma will be very much appreciated, though I have been trouble shooting for a while and it says quite matter-of-factly on Xblaze's website that Xblaze will not support the Voice Chat because Xfire doesn't want it to.

we arnt using teamspeak/vent because not all of us have a mic you know, that is why xfire is being used for our clan. It is flexible, ez to use, and dosnt require a mic but we can use mics. Does that answer your question?

Yeah, and that makes sense, i was just wondering why we weren't using the other ways, and be cause I hate not being able to communicate when ts needed, but to i can still listen to commands given through Adium if that is needed

Well, is xblaze running such a pain that you dont want to do it, if so, dont let it go tell me ill find a way. We have servers on vent.

oh sorry, Xblaze running through Adium sometimes unexpectedly quits. that is the only pain, but its not that hard to deal with. the only problem is that VC isn't available and that I can't run it in the wc3 screen, I can always Tab out and use it as an IM that will be easy enough, just no VC which i though was the most important part

its np, just wondering, and kk about the situation. But when u get a moment, go to...err well i dont know but check under tools <options or something like that, and change ur nickname to have [SgFh] infront of ur name and ur set. =D

HaHa ok lol, Seph was telling me i need to do that , and he even copy pasted the actual thing for me, but when I entered it into my nickname he said he couldn't see it and so it's there, just invisible, ill try that tho it might appear lol

about xblaze, i was just looking around and found a dl link to it. I dnno what version you were running, but this is 0.8.5 Maybe a couple things were fixed here
