Making a map

Alright, I am making a map, for real, and any suggestions and advice would be appreciated. The name is going to be Gladiator TD. Its a td that will feature gladiator towers, simple enough. What is really needed is
-names for the towers
-good ideas on how the game should go.
-Should it be pre mazed? (ELE TD, MAFA TD, AZURE TD)Or should i let the users maze (Gem td, Sprout td, massacre td, shopping maul, wintermaul.

a shopping maul type maul would def be more badass, but only if you can handle it.
Eh, some idea's for towers and the tooltip i think that should go there: (i'll add more as i learn more about it )

The Gladiators:

First lvl tower: Female Gladiator-In the deep roots of Roman history...women gladiators weren't important.

Second lvl tower: Effeminate Gladiator-These failures as gladiators are considered effeminate because of the fact they don't go to battle bare chested, they're too afraid they might get a boo boo on their pot bellies.

Third lvl tower: Prisoner of War-Ha. These guys got caught.

Give me about a week to learn how to use map editor, then ill be at work. so around september the ninth or tenth ill start working on the map itself. All im doing atm is just playing around with everything learning how it all works.

Lol. One of the towers or levels should be 'Spartans' Because everyone knows Spartans like, pwned people with no true level of ownage. Its still being calculated how ownage they were.

i think puting in a catapult like tower like the balistas would be nice and this going to be a survivior/race td? alone/team? that would help in which mazing idea to have right?

yea, spartans weren't really gladiators. and i'm sure they didn't use ballista's against the gladiators. they used chariots though!

XD i thought in gladiators it was always FREE-FOR-ALL unless they put two people who hate each other on the same team

well i was thinking maybe add the gladitaor mice from family guy as like a really bad first tower. as well cause gladitors are hand to hand u got to make a just melee race. I dont know alot about gladitors but some skills for like a gelping tower could be webing cause one gladitor used a net and a tritan
